Hello, Aviano Elementary Eagles Families!
We’re excited to share this week’s updates and reminders to keep everyone in the loop.
Extended Deadline for 2024 Influenza Vaccine Compliance
Dear DoDEA AES Families,
We are pleased to share that DoDEA Europe schools, in collaboration with our installation immunization clinics, have extended the deadline for the 2024 influenza vaccine from Sunday, December 1, 2024, to Friday, December 20, 2024.
Vaccination compliance remains a requirement, and we hope this additional time will allow families to schedule their student(s)’ vaccinations before or during winter recess. Please remember to submit vaccine records to the School Nurse or Main Office to ensure your child remains enrolled.
If you have already submitted your student’s immunization record, thank you so much! If you have any questions or need assistance, please don’t hesitate to contact the School Nurse.

Winter Wonderland Week (Dec. 9–13)
Get ready for some holiday magic! During Winter Wonderland Week, kids will get creative and make a special handmade gift just for you. No shopping required—just pure holiday joy and treasured memories.

- Monday, December 16: No school for students. Teachers will attend CCRS training.

Children should not be brought to school before 7:45 a.m. as there is no adult supervision before that time. All children who ride the bus will be put on their bus to go home unless a signed note is received, or a parent meets the child at the school. It is the responsibility of the parents or guardians to notify the school every time a student is absent. |
