Student Council

The Aviano Elementary School Student Council provides leadership roles to the 3rd, 4th and 5th graders who have been elected to represent their classrooms. Weekly meetings are held to discuss school-wide activities. The class reps bring up proposals from their classrooms to promote student driven positive changes in the school. They present morning announcements, so that all students can be informed about what is happening around the school. They run the student store and the pencil machine in order to raise money for school needs. They determine how the funds that they earn from these activities are to be used. They also give tours to new students and visitors. They organize and sponsor school-wide events such as the Carnevale Celebration and the school spelling bee. They continually discuss how to make Aviano Elementary School a safe and fun learning environment.
